Postdoctoral Position in Host-Pathogen Interactions

The Guttman and Desveaux labs are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to study the role of type III secreted effectors in plant-pathogen interactions. This research builds on our recently published papers in Science and Nature Microbiology papers. The aim of the work is to identify the minimal repertoires of Pseudomonas syringae effectors that enable virulence in Arabidopsis thaliana and related hosts, and then functionally cluster the members of these repertoires.

Applicants should send their CV, a statement of interest, and a list of at least three individuals who will provide reference letters to David Guttman (david.guttman@utoronto.ca) and Darrell Desveaux (darrell.desveaux@utoronto.ca).
